Marcel Spitz is an independent self-made entrepreneur and calls himself: “Change Catalyst”. He has a practical and holistic view on change taken from experience of organizations, technology & innovation and his interest in people and their behaviour.

Since 1976 Marcel has learned and taught about organizational processes, software development and project management in tens of projects, first 6 years in the timber industry, then for 18 years in ABN AMRO Bank’s international network.

In 1999 he became entrepreneur and freelance consultant. As Business Analyst, Project Manager and Change Manager in Finance, ERP, Risk and IT areas for Banks such as ABN, Rabo, ING and for public sector such as Vlaamse Gemeenschap, City of The Hague, University of Amsterdam, he discovered the essence how to steer change using communication at and between organizational levels and at the same time to map and improve processes.

Together with Oracle and the Flemish government, he developed the Process Agreements method. Within the municipality of Den Haag he then improves this method to involve stakeholders at the right time and detail and teaching the art of moving energy towards attention and respect.

In 2007 Marcel founds i4Change and with his partner Sebastian Wagner creates the ezModeler, a place on the web where you can map, redesign, improve and share your processes in easily understandable diagrams.

In 2008 Marcel starts i4Independent to support knowledge migrants to start their own business in the Netherlands under Dutch Law, Tax and Social Security Regulations.

In 2009 Marcel starts an Internet Marketing company: i4Service, a concept for freelance partners and a transparent earnings model that works as “Your Own Marketing, Admin and IT department”.

In the first half of 2010 Marcel lectures workshops at the Nyenrode Business University in Breukelen Netherlands. He

In May 2010 Marcel stops free lance consultancy and i4Service takes on Internet Marketing projects:

  • ProActiveInvestorsGroup.com: Marcel teams up with Jim Deas, a guru in Real Estate Investment and together set up a new business to find buyers in the current market that can help out people and companies that are distressed to pay the loan on their property and are looking for acceptable ways to solve this. Marketing is responsible for Marketing and Operations, Jim is the expert taking care of Product Management and Sales.
  • ZIPFinance.nl: working together with Patrick Terranea on the Marketing of this new unique business initiative: A Total Servicing Concept for and by Freelancers and Interim Professionals in The Netherlands.
